Ultrawide Interface
================
Modifies the menus and dialogs to work in 21:9 aspect ratios for ultra widescreen monitors.
The Skyrim interface is hard coded for 16:9 widescreen displays, and scales according to the screen width. So with a 2560x1080 display, the menus scale to 2560x1440, which means everything is huge and the top and bottom of the interface is cut off. This mod edits the main interface files to remedy this problem. Now, everything works and everything in every screen is visible. You can now see how much gold merchants have, how much carry weight you have, etc.
Installation
=========
Drag the "interface" folder from the archive into your Skyrim Special Edition\Data directory. Or use your favorite mod manager.
Configuring Skyrim SE for 21:9 resolutions
====================================
1. Go to your \Documents\My Games\Skyrim Special Edition folder.
2. In Skyrim.ini, add the following three lines under [Display]
fDefaultFOV=100
fDefault1stPersonFOV=100
fDefaultWorldFOV=100
The first time you load a save, the game will still be at the default FOV of 75. Hit [TAB] to bring up the menu, and your FOV should change to 100.
3. In Skyrimprefs.ini, edit the following 4 lines found under [Display]
bBorderless=0
bFull Screen=1
iSize H=1080
iSize W=2560
Set iSize H and iSize W to suit your resolution. My monitor is 2560x1080. If you have a 3440x1440 screen, use those values instead.
4. Create a new file called Skyrimcustom.ini (or edit it if it already exists) and paste the following lines:
[Interface]
fNoteDistance=75.000
fBookDistance=90.000
fUIMistMenu_CameraFOV_G=100
fUIAltLogoModel_TranslateX_G = 15
These lines adjust the reading distance for notes and books, and adjust the scale and position of the load screen models and main menu logo.
